Joseph Ambrefe, Jr.
President

Mr. Ambrefe has orchestrated the evolution of SecurityPoint Media from concept through
the development of a novel business model and successful implementation of its model. Mr. Ambrefe was granted a patent for the SecureTray System™ in May of 2005, and under his direction SecurityPoint Media successfully closed its Series A round of private financing in 2006. SecurityPoint Media has been recognized by federal agencies as a leader in checkpoint efficiency, as well as an innovative media firm by commercial partners. In July 2006, SecurityPoint Media was honored with the Leadership Award at Los Angeles International Airport recognizing the firm’s significant contribution to LAX.

Mr. Ambrefe has extensive sales, marketing and operations experience, including strategic business planning, contract management, sales force effectiveness and strategic alliances. Prior to founding SecurityPoint Media, Mr. Ambrefe spent over 18 years in the Pharmaceutical and Biotech industry, where he successfully built world-class specialty sales organizations from start-up phase into profitable business units. 

Mr. Ambrefe is a graduate of Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He holds a degree in Hospital Administration.

Douglas J. Linehan
Vice President, Commercial Operations

Mr. Linehan has over 17 years of experience in technology sales, marketing and contracting. As a founder, Mr. Linehan has spearheaded SecurityPoint Media’s efforts relating to logistics, manufacturing and supply chain management. Under Mr. Linehan’s direction, SecurityPoint has developed an effective and efficient supply and distribution model to address the complex logistical environment associated with airport security checkpoints. Doug and his operations team are responsible for executing the SecureTray™ go-to-market strategy, resulting in commercial commitments and contractual agreements with Fortune 100 companies.

Mr. Linehan has been researching solutions to the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) dilemma of checkpoint congestion since October 2001 having completed extensive research in the field.  His efforts have included primary and secondary research, solution development and alignment with strategic partners to fulfill all requirements associated with the SecureTray System™.

Mr. Linehan is a graduate of the University of Maine at Orono . He holds a degree in Business Administration.

Lisa Smithson
Chief Financial Officer

Lisa Smithson has over twenty-five years in accounting, tax and advisory services for individuals and businesses. During her six years serving as Chief Financial Officer of Doctor’s Walk-in Clinics, Inc., she played a major role in financing, merger and acquisition strategies. Her management and negotiation talents resulted in a significant growth in the company’s revenues and ultimately the multi-million dollar sale of the company.

Lisa is licensed to practice public accounting in the state of Florida. She is a licensed Certified Financial Planner by the CFP Board of Standards in Denver, Colorado. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Financial Planning Association, the Pinellas County Estate Planning Council, and the Tampa Bay Estate Planning Council.

Lisa serves on several professional, private company and civic organization boards of directors in the Bay Area. She has recently received nomination from the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce for 2006 Business Woman of the Year.
